Garbage Bins Power Washed - Aug 4

We had observed that Garbage Bins were dirty and specially in the summer time it may stink, hence we just had both bins power washed and cleaned. Please tie all the plastic garbage bags tightly before throwing into the bins. Close the lids. Open bags leave the residue in the bins and this attracts insects/flys and area seems unhyeginic.

Please follow simple rules to keep Garbage area neat and tidy. Thank you.

2009 July Elections

Election provides a good opportunity for home owners to participate in the community, provide guidance and support to keep our area safe, clean and improve. We just had meeting on July 30 2009 for electing board members; Unfortunately we did not have the quoram to elect officials;

We need representation from 10 home owners out of 40 (i.e. 25%). Vishal will try to collect the proxy votes for home owners in the next couple of weeks.

Rain water in the Meadows...

Its been raining a lot lately; NJ usually gets about 2.5 inch of rain in the month of June but this year (2009) its been in 20 days in June we already seem to have more than 6 inches of rain. Rain just don't want to leave from here now...

There are some areas in the community where rain water settles and makes a puddle, its behind the Buidling # 1 and Buildilng # 3 and some spots appear in the parking lot. The puddle disappears after a day or so and bit early if the sunshine returns faster... Its not a big problem at this time but something that can be improved.

Your board members have discussed it few times but it seems the cost of building the underground tunnel to pass the rain water to the Meadows is high. We are also going through the transition study and this will help to understand if builder could have added this to existing structure specially behind the building # 3. We are in the 'wait and watch' state and will update in the near future.. In the mean time please be aware of this situations...

As always your suggeestions are welcome..

Adding Flood lights around the community

We have recently added two flood lights behind the building # 3. This has brightened and keeps the area lit throughout the night. This enahnces utility value of the area and makes it more safer, secure. Also people can use the areas during nights; especially during the summer time it will be beneficial.

The response from the home owners is been great and encouraging. Hence we are going to add another flood light behind the bulding # 2. This will lit up the area make that area secure and useful during night walks.

Enjoy living at the Meadows at Ridgefield Park. Please post your comments and suggestion below..

Welcome to Meadows at Ridgefield Park

Its a small and beautiful community located in Northen NJ in Bergen County (City: south of Ridgefield Park). Its a commuter's delight which is just a minute away from major highways such as New Jersey Turnpike (NJTP), NJ Route 46, and Interstate Route 80 and about 5 minutes away from George Washington Bridge (GWB) and 6 minutes from Lincon Tunnel. All 3 airports can be reached in 30-60 minutes. Just to give you an idea - it costs about $40 to reach Newark Airport and $80 to reach JFK in NY but if you get a ride and there is no traffic you can reach newark airport in 17 minutes... I have done it myself...

There are 40 families live here and community has 3 buildilngs. Parking is good enough compared to other parts of bergen county and please do not forget this is northen jersey and having a garage is a luxury, so we have one garage for each home and an assigned parking spot. Visitor parking is limited.
